Review – Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy

Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy a game of the hidden object genre, which opens the world of pirates of the 18th century to its players. You will have many adventures and even will feel a real pirate’s romance. You will need the save the life of your grandfather, to overcome many hardships and even to learn the legend which was forgotten very long ago and it won’t be as easy as it seems to you. So, enjoy the game of the hidden object genre Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy and you will receive many positive emotions.

Gameplay

You are a young guy who realized that your grandfather is a Pirate and you want to find out many things which were unknown and even strange for you till this moment. You need to find out about many secrets of pirate’s world. As a main hero you will have to search for the information which is divided into peaces and the sooner you will find them the sooner you will open the secret of the unknown pirate’s world!

Interface of the game is very pleasant and it is easy to master the controls even if you are a newcomer. Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy contains many mini-games which from the first sight may seem easy but this is not so – they are rather interesting and exciting. The most interesting mini-game is the game when you shoot the pirates who occupied the city. This mini-game gives you an opportunity to relax and just to have a fun after the difficult search of the lost things you need to find. I also greatly enjoyed the mini-game in a bar! You will have a fairly easy task arrange the booze under the flags of the producing countries rather band a short time. Frankly I do the job was hard because I do not understand in alcohol.

A minor flaw of the game is the linearity of the script. I think it was necessary to add more action as well as other small surprises. But on the other hand this game was made to entertain people and make them feel relaxed and if it would be too difficult the players wouldn’t be able to receive as much pleasure from the game as they wanted to.

Next I would like to give special attention to the locations themselves in Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy. They are traced very carefully and sometimes even too. Although perhaps this requires the genre of game, agree with me it would be interesting to look for any hidden objects whether they be in sight. But in general the game-play is rather interesting in spite of that it is not as various as it could be.

Graphics

Graphic design of the game made in cartoon style. Another disadvantage I would call the animation in the game or rather its almost complete absence. But it’s not very noticeable on the background perfectly traced locations. Graphic takes 9\10.

Sound

During the game itself you can here a calm and unobtrusive instrumental music, which has nothing to do with what happens on the screen! It would be not bad to add some special sounds and effects to the places where it is really needed. The dialogues are not always voiced which I didn’t like at all. Personally, I do not have enough diversity in the musical design. Sound takes 7\10.

Conclusion

The game Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy is the classic hidden object game with their disabilities but also with the good moments which for sure deserves your attention and which for sure can be finished till the end at least one time. I liked the game in general, but select it from many other similar, I cannot.
