Review – Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition
Introduction
Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition – the name of the project absolutely impart it’s essence because you will need to unravel the main riddle in the darkness. So, let’s know more about this hidden object games and dip into the world of mysteries of the ancient Aztecs.
Gameplay
From the very beginning of the game it is obvious that you won’t have the time to be boring at all. The plot line develops so quickly and impetuously that I began to feel with my hero. At once I would like to point on several things which I liked a lot in Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition! The first is the player has to be in two different dimensions practically at the same time – at the daytime and nighttime dimension.
As soon as you appear in the darkness with the help of closed curtains you appear in the other world – full of mysteries which you could never see during the day light. You will face with danger – demons and the world of ancient Aztecs will surround which will make you feel very excited.
The second stage which I liked in the game a lot is the particularity of the process of game itself – like hide objects game, where instead of usual tasks you will need not to find something and take it with you but instead put the things you have on their place, where they have to be. Also if you will have the problems with finding the answers to the questions you have you may always use the book of hints where you can find the answers or just to use the button – HINT – in the right lower corner of the screen, which not only shows the hidden objects but also is a kind of your guide in the world of Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition.
But I can’t say I found the process of playing difficult but instead it was rather balanced and brought only joy and excitement. The tasks are not simply difficult – they are rather entertaining and lead the hero through the plot line. During the game you will be need to return back to the locations you passed already in order to check the tackle you found and to look at the initial things on the daylight, because you won’t be able to turn off the light in the room at once because of different reasons or vice versa – to find the source of the light.
This for sure makes the process of playing a bit longer but doesn’t spoil at all.
As for the mini-games – during the time I was playing Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition I didn’t find any mini-games at all, but it didn’t make me upset because the plot of the game is so interesting that you even don’t pay attention so this and even more, I even wouldn’t want to be interrupted by other things in the process of playing.
Interface of the game is rather comfortable. I wouldn’t even have a desire to add something and there are no things which could be unnecessary.
Graphics
I can say that it is the best graphic design that I have ever seen. There are so many high quality objects on all the locations, the characters are also shown in details. The picture doesn’t seem static on all the levels and also there is nothing which could spoil the impression of the game and nothing which can interrupt you from playing, which can confuse you while solving a task.
Sound
The music in the Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition – is something which I liked the most! The wonderful sound of the game is the mixture of a great electronic music and ethnic music, which you don’t want even to turn off, if you are in the office or sitting at home late at night. This makes you feel that you are really the hero of this game and even make the impression of your complete presence in a game even more strong.
The music varies all the time and even in a very dangerous moments you may here some marry sounds or vice versa. Also the sounds of the world which surrounds the hero are very natural and especially scaring seem to be the voice of owl and the howl of the coyotes.
Conclusion
This is exactly the right occasion to call your friends and to shout as loudly as you can – and did you already play the Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night Collector’s Edition!?» If not then do it as quicker as you can. So, this game occupies the highest position in my parade of the hidden objects games. I will try to finish it for sure and to guess the riddles and secrets of the ancient Aztecs.
