Review – Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy Collector’s Edition

Golden Trails 2:The Lost Legacy Collector’s Edition – the game is for those who are fond of the voice of mews, pleasant sea wind and the cannonade of the topside weapons on the boards of the pirate’s frigates and the sound of the boarding sabers. All those, who finds pirate’s romance attractive, will receive a real satisfaction from new hidden object game Golden Trails 2:The Lost Legacy Collector’s Edition

Gameplay

The plot line touches a young guy, who just discovered that his grandfather was a pirate and began his own investigation, which opened many secrets of Pirate’s Brotherhood. With a main hero you will need to collect the fragments of the information piece by piece which at the end will open the secrets of the Pirates.

The first thing which pleasantly surprises a player is that the game has a very friendly and nice interface and you will never have the problems with mastering the controls.

Playing in Golden Trails 2:The Lost Legacy Collector’s Edition I really was impressed by finding many mini-games, which seemed very simple from the first sight and even a little bit dull but this impression disappeared in first 10 seconds. One of my favorite mini-games of the project became the game when you needed to shoot the pirates, which give an opportunity to have a little break and relax after the searching of the lost things and to concentrate on shooting the Pirates who occupied the city from old guns. But you also need to remember that there exist also native citizens who are not dangerous and you need to be very careful while choosing an aim. This gives excitement to a game.

One of the minuses of the plot line is that you know in advance what will happen and when and all the tasks and questions you had to solve during some time could be solved too quickly which was a bit dull for me! But on the other hand this game was made to entertain people and make them feel relaxed and if it would be too difficult the players wouldn’t be able to receive as much pleasure from the game as they wanted to.

If to speak about the game locations themselves in Golden Trails 2:The Lost Legacy Collector’s Edition, they are drawn in the details and to my mind there are neither a lot nor less of objects on these locations which makes playing this hidden object game even more interesting. The characters don’t really have any special appearance. But in general the game-play is rather interesting in spite of that it is not as various as it could be.

Graphics

This hidden object game is made in animation (cartoon) style. Movies which open the plot line have bad animation what spoils a general picture a bit and of course the impressions of a game. In a game it self the drawings are much better in spite of that there are many static objects which doesn’t make the general picture exciting.

Sound

The sound of the game didn’t leave any mark in my head. During the game itself you can here a calm and unobtrusive instrumental music, which has nothing to do with what happens on the screen! It would be not bad to add some special sounds and effects to the places where it is really needed. The dialogues are not always voiced which I didn’t like at all.

Conclusion

Golden Trails 2:The Lost Legacy Collector’s Edition is the classic hidden object game which for sure deserves your attention and which for sure can be finished till the end at least one time but of course I wouldn’t include it to my list of the BEST Games.
