Introduction

When I have read the description of this game I understood at once that it is an unusual representative of the hidden object game, a real mystic thriller, where you can feel yourself as a hero of this game but not only to spend the time trying to solve the puzzles playing in mini-games. So, we start playing in Dark Dimensions: City of Fog.

Gameplay

The first what caught my attention was the environment – high quality design really impressed. And from the first seconds of the game I felt that I was present in that place, I was a part of it. All the actions which I needed to perform were understandable and intuitive, which is one of the many pluses of the Dark Dimensions: City of Fog. The process of the game itself is more like watching of a movie unlike the other representatives of the hidden object game, where the riddles or too difficult, or the scenario of the game is so uninteresting, that it looks more like the collection of mini-games, which are not even connected with each other.

What I liked the most in the game is how real the city Silvertown looks like, where the events take place. You will feel the rapt look from the deserted hotel window and notice the silhouette of one of the citizens of the city in the alleyway on the opposite side.

The main quests of the game won’t be difficult for the newcomers of the hidden object game and also it won’t be boring for the fans of this genre. The only thing which I didn’t like a bit was that it was impossible to miss some puzzles or to receive a detailed prompt for them.

I have met rather many different mini-games in the Dark Dimensions: City of Fog and I can say that all of them are really interesting and fit the main scenario of a game.

In general the game is performed in a very obscure style which expresses the atmosphere of the game in the best way! This for sure will satisfy the tastes of the fans of mystic’s genre and those, who like to solve difficult puzzles.

Graphics

It is absolutely splendid! I speak about everything which you will see – from the smallest details of the of the environment as I said already to the details of the object which you will see in the game. The great plus is a splendid animation practically in every location ( the leaves which are fall down, the stones on the graveyard which flying) There are plenty of luminous effects which help to create the atmosphere of lost town. So, I can say that the graphics in the Dark Dimensions: City of Fog is really amazing. But I won’t tell here about all the surprises which are hidden in the game. So I put 10\10 points to those who created it!

Sound

As we play not only in the hidden object game but in mystic thriller, then music has to correspond with the style! What can I say! It is really so! My expectations were improved. The music in Dark Dimensions: City of Fogis amazing and really plays it’s very important role in the atmosphere of a game. It makes you feel tension when it is needed, let you concentrate on the puzzles, don’t interrupt you from the process. Practically all the dialogues are well-voiced. So, the sound receives 10\10 points also.

Conclusion

I can say that I really enjoyed the game completely! I think that the Dark Dimensions: City of Fog will impress every person who will start playing it and no one will be indifferent to it and will have a desire to finish it for sure but not to turn off the computer and leave for a night club. ; )
